Green Park, a thriving 195 acre business park located in Reading, Berkshire, wanted to refresh its offering to stand out in a competitive market. The existing spaces were practical but had room for improvement. The ambition was clear: to create a collection of 15 tenant ready suites that offer businesses the flexibility to expand and evolve without needing to leave the Green Park ecosystem, creating a community that encourages long term tenancy and collaboration.

Tenant focused design

To bring Green Park’s vision to life, we designed and delivered workspaces that seamlessly blend functionality, adaptability and inclusivity. Each suite was carefully crafted to offer a versatile environment that could be easily personalised. Modular furniture and neutral colour schemes created a flexible foundation, while branded lightboxes and adjustable LED lighting allowed tenants to customise the look and feel of their offices.

Wellbeing and accessibility was a key focus of the project. Ergonomic furniture, biophilic design elements and soundproofing were added to improve comfort and productivity. Accessible tea points and multi-faith prayer rooms were also included to ensure inclusivity and cater to the diverse needs of tenants.

Recognising the demands of modern, technology driven workplaces, the suites were equipped with advanced cabling infrastructure and walls were prepped for tenant AV installations. Additionally, shared co-working areas and breakout zones were incorporated into the overall design, fostering collaboration and building a strong sense of community within Green Park.

Workspaces built around tenants

Green Park now offers a variety of office spaces designed to suit different business needs. Cat A+ suites offer high quality, furnished environments that tenants can move into immediately and adapt as they grow. Meanwhile, Cat A spaces feature refurbished, ready to customise suites allowing businesses to infuse their identity through bespoke Cat B fit outs. These options ensure that every tenant finds a space perfectly suited to their needs.

Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the success of the suites in creating a welcoming environment. Green Park has set a new standard for workspace design, solidifying its reputation as a vibrant neighbourhood, home to diverse, forward thinking businesses.
